We are all a work in progress…

Jill Carnell has been a licensed attorney in Indiana since October 2005, where most of her practice has been in government at the state and local levels.

In January 2019, Jill began the low-residency Master of Arts in Mindfulness Studies program at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  This program is the first of its kind in North America.  She is studying the Buddhist roots of contemplative practice, mindful communication, mindful movement, neuroscience, and leadership while also deepening her own meditation practice.  One of Jill’s research interests is the practice of labyrinth walking as a mindfulness meditation practice.  She is a Veriditas trained Labyrinth Facilitator. Jill enjoys facilitating sessions for those who are curious about engaging with the labyrinth.

Through her immersion in emerging research regarding the impact of mindfulness practices on stress reduction, enhanced brain function, emotional regulation, and our innate capacity for compassion, Jill is dedicated to leading a more contemplative life.  She invites anyone who is interested in exploring these practices to join her in learning more.
